  Just as a singer sang ''if you know wetin I know, you for no reason me...'' Most times, people do not learn to empathize which makes them easy to judge you. They are always ready to pounce on you when you're found guilty of a wrongdoing. Empathy means to identify with or understanding of the thoughts, feelings, or emotional state of another person. It is the capacity to understand another person's point of view. It's fine to be so positively minded about our expectations but this could blind us to believing the table turns. Note: this 'table turning' of a thing doesn't necessarily means for bad, No No. Lack of empathy causes us to judge other people inappropriately. We are too quick to say 'God catch him' even when we don't understand what has led to that. Well, I believe we all know the brain stores what it sees faster than what it hears. I've said it once here and I'll say it again that appearance matters (maybe to me though). I sincerely do not know how young people especially ladies feel comfortable shabbily dressed and tell you it's like that since their partner is not around or they have no one looking at them. Eeeew! I used to know a very beautiful lady whom because of her boyfriend's insecurity, doesn't dress near good. I mean when I tried to talk to her, she said her boyfriend had warned her not to 'dress to kill' for other guys since he's not around. How on earth would someone be so mean? As human beings, we are so much in a hurry for results. We want speed, for things to happen in a twinkle of an eye. We want to jump steps and just make things so snappy.  But life at times throws lemon at us, we don't often get what we want. That is the traffic congestion or hold up on our ways. This resolution of a thing sef, it's always somehow. Many of us pledge to do some things or even vow to stop some things at the beginning of a year but eventually we get incapacitated. How numerous resolution get discarded by February baffles me alot sha. Another worst thing about this is that some people even forget they made a resolution as regards a particular thing. Insecurity!!! This alone ruins a marriage of so many years, especially when the ego of the man is being tampered with. Insecurity comes in different forms. In a relationship, a man may feel insecure when his wife earns more than he. A woman may feel insecure when her husband is quite attractive or maybe used to be a casanova before they got married. And generally, insecurity between a husband and a wife could be as a result of growing up and hurtful past relationship experiences. In friendship, a friend may feel insecure when the other seems to be doing well. An insecure person could be very difficult to deal with.  I wonder why people are so used to nailing you to what you were once known for even after knowing you've moved. There's this elderly friend of mine. He was a panelist in a finance workshop. He asked if I could make it to the event that day and I replied in the affirmative. The discussion was really an eye-opener for me and I commended him immediately after the session. Just as I was still standing by him, a man whom he described as one of his friends in the college came over and said ''if it had been someone else talking, I might have agreed, when did you become so serious about money of a thing, you used to be so extravagant at spending.''
