Blood Sisters 🎬

Hey fam, Have you seen Blood sisters series on Netflix? I know the Nollywood critics would be like why the hype but calm down, it's high time we started embracing what our actors are creating so we can give both positive and negative honest criticisms that would help them do better. So I didn't want to write anything on this movie before y'all think that is it just movie review everytime. A friend also watched the movie and she just kept saying what she felt about the movie and then I just asked her to give it a shot. She hesitated at first but penned something down anyway. Kindly read up fam (Credit - AKADI MAYOWA ) Have you ever heard of the term bestie? you have one or seen duo call each other that? set awon partners in crime🤣🤣, bestie no be for mouth o, it's two friends that so much understand each other (as in they can read each other like a book) and can do anything I mean everything just to have each other's back, this is the case of Kemi and Sarah in Bloo

King of Thieves Agesinkólé 🎬

Let me start with the slogan "Agesinkólé kan omo re pupo - kuo beun na" So sorry if you don't understand yoruba or haven't seen the movie yet. I'll help by saying Agesinkólé is literally translated as "He who rides horse to rob houses." Lol King of Thieves is an epic story of betrayal that revolves round a prince who was deprived of the throne by the king makers. He was set up as a thief by those he has solely trusted and faced the brutal punishment of death. In a quest for vengeance, he reincarnated and troubled the town violently by carting away goods even with no regards for human life. The movie is indeed a complete package from the casts to the props, the costume, the language, the directing, the clean production and post production.  You know, I just can't be wait to be told after seeing the paparazzi from the premiere and the thriller, mehn.... I became so much inquisitive as to what exactly the content was and can say I truly got the value fo

The Tinder Swindler🎬

Apparently when this movie started showing on Netflix, I was busy with my final year stress, exams and projects inclusive so I had little or no time to watch movies as that. The movie revolves round a social media fraudster known as Simon who put up an expensive lifestyle on the Tinder dating app to swindle women who have basically fallen in love with him and believed him to be true. These three women victims basically were the ones narrating their ordeals that became a movie. He claimed to be the son to a wealthy family who deal in diamonds and convinces people with the documentation of his luxurious lifestyle on social media especially on instagram. Can we say dating app is now bad? Well, no. There have been so many experiences of people who have met their partners on these dating sites and are still doing well. Okay now, I want to believe those that fall for people like Simon are the ones who are attracted by prodigious lifestyle. Awon long-throat babes and guys who seek validatio

AYINLAthemovie🎥

I think this is like the first time a movie will be out in the cinema and I'll go see it almost immediately (the following day). Most times, I go after a week cos of the fear of crowded cinemas but this time, I could not wait. Fam, I got to see #ÀYÌNLÁthemovie last weekend and all I can say is the hype is worth it. Why did I rush to see the movie? Could it be because I was so confident in the directing role of the veteran Tunde 'TK' Kelani? Or because the producer Jade Osiberu (Producer of Sugar Rush starring Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Bisola Aiyeola, Bimbo Ademoye, Toke Makinwa, e.t.c ) or maybe just because my crush Lateef Adedimeji is out here again to give us another angle to his versatility. All I knew was, I wanted to see the movie myself before someone starts narrating it for me and yes, I sure did. I felt in love with the combination of both art and science. Art in the aspect of creativity. How Jade Osiberu was able to explore the life and death of the Apala music maest

Twenty-Twenty🆗

Our over-hyped 2020 is almost gone, in about 72 hours, we would all be updating #StraightOutta2020. With all the odds that came with 2020,  With the way things were affected, With complaints here and there, Did the year really feel your presence? I know we all had excuses. '' I wish I could have done this and that but covid19 spoilt my plans...'' and so on. For you to still be alive reading this, it can only be God and I felicitate with you.  If you were to do a review of your life this year, did you merely exist or live? Well, these two English words are used wrongly by some people, they believe they are living when in the real sense they are existing. Okay, wait, apart from people recognising you by name, complexion, voice or appearance, do they know you by good works? Existence is a state of being, to be alive, to fill a vacuum, to occupy a space. Living is different, it's being alive to have an impact.  This year, we know you're online, you view status, you

CITATION the movie🎥💽

Will #sex_for_grades scandal ever stop? Are we really going to have repentant lecturers? How best do we handle lecturer-student relationship without obsession? Ok, so I watched CITATION the movie and yea it's absolutely relatable. Note, this isn't a review. To start with, I would like to commend the hardwork and ingenuity of the veteran movie producer Kunle Afolayan.  The characterization is amazing and altogether the production is perfect. With casts like Temi Otedola starring as Moremi Oluwa and Ibukun Awosika who made their applaudable debut appearances, actors like Joke Silver, Gabriel Afolayan, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Adjetey Anang, Sadiq Daba and others on the list too made it a grand success. The African heritage portrayed in the movie include the language, afro wears, artifacts and tourism.  As a lover of language that I am, I was happy to hear fluent Yoruba, English and French language at the same time. I love the exploration within Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde. I won'
