The lies we know🌓

They knew we know the truth but they still tell us the truth we know is a lie. Who are they? Nigerian government apparently. CNN released video of what transpired at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020 and it was denied by our able Minister of Information, Mr Lai. I'll say well done sir! It was denied ahbi, the denial of the masaccre should have followed a video of what they called the truth about the incidence. I was expecting a shocking revelation of protesters at the toll gate who were just singing national anthem and waving the flag all through but I couldn't find it. I was expecting a total denial of DJ switch's Instagram live video that it was probably at a movie location or thereabout. I was expecting the federal government to say those visited at the hospital by the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwoolu were victim of landslide and not the Lekki tollgate shootings. Yea, maybe I should add this too. I was also expecting them to say the officers of the Nigerian A

FG-ASUU tournament⚽📚

''Maybe it would have  been better if students go and learn skills.'' ''The schools should rather be closed for two to five years in order to resuscitate the education sector'' Well, these and many more are the statements that have been pissing me off since the beginning of the dialogue between ASUU and the Federal Government. Gradually, 2020 is almost over and students in Nigeria universities are yet to know their resumption fate. I could remember vividly that the strike was ongoing before the lockdown was declared. It's a pity a course of study with 4 years duration turns out to be 5 or even 6 years. How did we get here? A student would actually be happy when he or she is offered a provisional admission and start calculating how many years to go but like the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria would say ''I was shocked'' the calculated duration gets longer and longer.  Nigeria educational system is actually wrecking every

CITATION the movie🎥💽

Will #sex_for_grades scandal ever stop? Are we really going to have repentant lecturers? How best do we handle lecturer-student relationship without obsession? Ok, so I watched CITATION the movie and yea it's absolutely relatable. Note, this isn't a review. To start with, I would like to commend the hardwork and ingenuity of the veteran movie producer Kunle Afolayan.  The characterization is amazing and altogether the production is perfect. With casts like Temi Otedola starring as Moremi Oluwa and Ibukun Awosika who made their applaudable debut appearances, actors like Joke Silver, Gabriel Afolayan, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Adjetey Anang, Sadiq Daba and others on the list too made it a grand success. The African heritage portrayed in the movie include the language, afro wears, artifacts and tourism.  As a lover of language that I am, I was happy to hear fluent Yoruba, English and French language at the same time. I love the exploration within Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde. I won'

EXAMsleepATION📖🌌

I was sitting on the bed in my room staring at the note of the exam paper I have the next day.  Loud thoughts, do we need exams? Are they true test of knowledge? Our answers might contradict but nonetheless, we still need to be tested. Like I was saying o. Well, my room is a typical example of some student's room without a chair and a reading desk. Obviously, when you come visiting, you'll be sitting on my bed if you don't mind. Lol It wasn't a course I really fancied so the note was kinda boring but you know I had to read it anyway. Getting good grades can be sweet o, chai! I was reading a line about a million times, yawning continuously, changing positions and at the end of it, I found myself lying flat. Sleep? Yea, I actually slept off while reading sha.  You obviously can relate right?  Maybe this can somewhat be targeted at students because I'm in that shoes at the moment too. Enjoy my tips😋 When you notice you're about dozing off while reading, walk aro

Fight of all, fight for all💪

At a sensitive time such as this, some people are so much concerned with tribal conspiracy theory instead of fighting as Nigerians with one voice. The bad governance we are speaking against today does not only affect the Southerners, it's to every Nigerian home or away. It may not bother you as it does to me how we get to recycle the same people in governance. They come disguised as saviours on a different political platform whereas it's no different from the other and then we approve of them thinking they'll do better. Wow! See them shocking us one by one. Nigeria is sixty years old for crying out loud and yea, we should enjoy good lives as Nigerians. How annoying it is when I meet staunch followers of a particular leader and their level of reasoning still shows how blindfolded they are to see the obvious flaws. Like how can one out of hundred person keep saying that one leader is doing well when it's otherwise? Mehnnnn You mean to say the remaining ninety nine are sen

Your health and You✔

Knock knock! May I come in?😂 Gbam, I'm in already. Hmmmmm. The past week has been a battle for me, from malaria to cough to cold to lack of appetite and all. Finally, I came out stronger. Wait, what were you thinking? I caught you, it's not corona virus o. I'm fully convinced that good health is underrated. You move freely, eat anything, sleep for long hours, wear sleeveless cloth and just live at too much of a liberty. Then sickness handicaps one to be so much of a selective eater. Did I even say eat? You may not be able to eat anything at that moment. Temperature gets to a hundred degrees Celsius, then every usual activities become odd. I couldn't eat good food because there was no appetite, all I could honestly take was pap and milk or beverage. Gosh! It wouldn't have been an option if I was fine. So many times, we need to be grateful for blessings money can't buy, good health is one big deal. For days you really want to drip, you could bend to iron your c

My SARS experience🕴

Did I share my police harassment story with you? I guess I didn't  Well, as much as I always try to evade addressing the negative sides in the police force because of the people I have there, I won't hesitate to speak now. I posted something on my WhatsApp status on Sunday when I saw the news that SARS has been dissolved and the caption reads thus ''FG finally shenk SARS, our boyfriends are free now.'' The reaction of people really surprised me when some started questioning me to know whether I'm dating a yahoo boy. Some even went to the extent of accusing me of being a party to fraud. Lol, I was like ''what the feck!'' SARS do not only chase after yahoo boys, they harass you when you look too good to be true.  Okay wait, you saw the comedy skit of a guy who defined SARS? Dread, iPhone, laptop, chains, designer wears et cetera. How many is my body that SARS officer is stopping me? So it happened like this o, I took a bike from Sango to Iwo
